i did a regular job at SELBY
this day was a real P souper.i was travelling back from Selby to newmilller dam,and in those days at Ferrybridge
across the A1 was a Round about
it was that Bad that each vehicle had to
escorted across,by the police
it was my Turn,the Copper took me across

there was this day i was going to newcastle
i had stopped at a transport cafe for a meal
and off stes up the A! i had not gone far
could not do the speed limit
