McCoist is the best summariser in football. Has been for years. No idea why he disappeared years ago.

First time I've watched a match on Amazon Prime, thanks to my son being at home.

Agree with the OP, always had a lot of time for Jon Champion from when he did BBC Radio commentary.

Agree. Really enjoyed the match tonight. Liverpool are nearly always a good watch but with them two commentating it just added to it.

I think it’s because he’s poor and dull.

Johnathan Pearce is one of the worst.

And controversially to some I was never a fan of John Motson but Barry Davies was one of my old faves.

Agree, the commentary on the League Cup match against Man City in 1981 being an excellent example.

Very few pundits & commentators irritate me. I’m not really a fan of McManaman on co-commentary but think he’s decent in the studio. Owen’s a bit bland & I think Morrison & Evra on Sky are terrible but in general most are pretty good.

I also used to really like Ray Wilkins’ commentary but he used to get constant abuse on twitter so maybe it’s just me

Barry Davies my all time favourite, loved listening to him, and the range of sports he covered made his ability even more impressive.

Be interesting if they swapped sports; Jonathan Pearce doing the golf, Peter Allis (RIP) doing the footy.

for those who pay the man this is a proper first world problem that now has a solution.

you can link your amazon account to your sky account and select amazon from apps on the sky tv home guide page, saves using different remotes and switching devices etc.

John Helm was the very best! His football knowledge could rival anyone's.

Also, whatever happened to Ian Darke?
