    Our best player today, for me anyway. Put that little bit of extra effort in that he didn't do last season, and took his goal well.

    Glad Butterfield got a goal, and Davey sounds very confident on Hammill. Feeling a bit more optimistic after today.

    Paul Walker reckoned he was outstanding

    He battles well, never lets you down and scores important goals. He gives us a physical presence we otherwise lack.

    He's lost a yard of two of pace though and although he often gives defenders the slip, he can rarely capitalise on it.
