    the reason why we got rid of parkin was because wen the north stand was built he trashed the changing rooms caused some right damage. he was setting a bad example to the youth academy players as he was more of a reserve player at the time. gospel truth. my grandad was one of the old guys that used to watch barnsley train obviously you get in with the coaches and they said it. parkin is a bad egg hence why he was shipped off to york

    I was at school with him and he was always the joker, but never nasty or violent. abit of a showoff, but ok really. I'm off to his wedding in a few weeks, should be fun!

    But Preston have also signed Stephen Elliott from Wolves.......erm.......and they were gonna be in and around our kind of position in the league, but quality up front they now have, including Mellor (and am sure others that I cant think of so late at night)
