I thought his goal for Hull at Stoke was pure class - long ball to lone striker. Controls the ball. Turns his man like an international and tucks away the goal. He just seemed more alert and nimble than I remember at Oakwell. Seem to remember his playing as a striker in an end of season game against Bolton and not really getting into the game at all. Looked a real prospect on that showing.

Also thought that Rory Fallon's goal was well taken. Worth remembering that the score was 2-2 at the time and he did really well to head a ball which was behind him in an arc just inside the right-hand post.

Having said that - Richards was very alert and showed quick feet and awareness in his strike, so mustn't mourn the lost players too much!!
