should never have let him go.

Him and Hayes would be a good combo upfront for us.

Just cos he liked a few ales and fags - could've been nutured, not like he would have been on big wages or owt.

    A waste twice...

    1. That we got shut
    and
2.that he's so unfit that he can only get thru 45 mins of football. Potentially he could be brilliant.

Bet he has a gallon or two

toneet. 20 Regal King Size. 2 goal Match winner. Helping defence out towards end. 90 mins hard toil. divisions top scorer?

I would be straight on the Stella and why not?

    Beg to differ

All my circle of friends were agreed that Steve Parkin was a pillock for letting someone go who could play equally well at Centre Half or Centre Forward. Was an absolute 'no brainer' that you kept such a player in your squad.

    Paul Gibbs

FFS - what an absolutely useless footballer.

Ditto Mike Flynn. Richard Naylor. Gary Jones.

    RE: Paul Gibbs

Players signed by Steve Parkin: Chris Lumsdon, Gary Jones, Kevin Betsy, Tony Bedeau, Paul Gibbs, Mike Flynn, Andy Holt and Keith Curle. As hard as Steve Parkin worked he was never going to succeed when he was bringing such utter ***** into the club! The thought of Gibbs playing for the reds still gives me nightmares! Anyone remember his miss away at Northampton?
