    Quality targetman if thats the type Davey is looking for,think hes going to use Odejayi in that role though,Stead is leagues ahead of him in terms of football ability(also in wages)

    Just said the same mate (post above) get him in. Blades will probably sign another striker, when Beattie goes and will be surplus to their requirements.

    Hed be the 20 a season player with a proper run in the team,Rob Hulse is another excellent front man(sorry their both Blades) are they a bit out of our price range?maybe Stead might not be price wise but i would imagine hed be on big bucks,Mr Howard could be the bait.

    Have i read somewhere we have £1.5 million to spend on players? Surley Steady would only cost around £700k.

    Signing someone for £700k is within our range but when their wages are over that a year we can;t compete.

    well if we get rid of some avarage players we have, could we fund it that way, surley batter to have quality over quantity.

    He had one good season at Blackburn and has been crap since

    I'm sure he went a year without scoring when he was at Sunderland

    If we blow our transfer budget on him it will be as big a mistake as spending a fortune (for us) on Odejayi and Mossto
