Good. As my Gran used to say - you can never have enough midfielders. Or was it tea towels? I'm not sure. I think Davey will put him in goal.
How many Man United reserve games have you seen? your scouting network extending wider than the Marketing Dept, and that.
Erm - none I don't think. I don't think I've ever seen him play. Have that. Howard Hayes Jones Williams Togwell McCann Devaney Reid, K Mattis I, for one, would like to see us bring in a few more midfielders ... not centre halves that we don't need. Witcoachingmanualart.
You missed some: Healy McParland also, Wroe? Tonge? competition for places could be our 12th man. as opposed to the half full stadium we're not getting every home match. you in the prawn sandwich end tomorrow?
Here is the story (from the official site) BARNSLEY Football Club have moved quickly into the transfer market after the loan window reopened and again raided Old Trafford by agreeing a deal to sign highly-rated midfielder Ritchie Jones on loan until the end of the season. The Reds have agreed a move for the Manchester United youngster and the paperwork is in the process of being finalised between both Clubs, the Football League, Football Association and FA Premier League. Barnsley Football Club expect the transfer to be formally completed on Monday (February 12, 2007) and Ritchie will be available to make his Reds debut at Southampton next weekend. The 20-year-old came up through the ranks at the Premiership giants and made his Manchester United debut in last seasons Carling Cup victory over Barnet in October 2005. Born in Stockport, Ritchie was a regular in United's Carling Cup side last season, featuring against West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City. He also played in the goalless FA Cup tie at Burton Albion in January 2006. Although he featured in the Carling Cup victory at Crewe Alexandra earlier this season, Ritchie found first team opportunities limited at Old Trafford and signed on loan at Colchester United in August, making six appearances for the Layer Road side. He returned to Old Trafford in November 2006 through injury. Ritchie will stay at Oakwell until May 6, 2007.

PAUL Reid We bought Paul Reid as a midfielder. I seem to remember him playing in midfield when he first arrived. You wouldn't think so, his distribution out of defence lets him down.
