Bad light. If he'd played the pacemen the umpires would/could have taken the players off. Much less likely to happen with spin.

I dont expect Harmison and Hoggard to bowl much more in this match.

Depends on conditions tomorrow. It's expected to be cloudy, so we'd have to let Hoggy chance his arm. Flintoff, Jones 'n' Giles will be the workhorses though.

 

Hacked off that I have to come to work , as ground is only 5 mins from home.

Still a good win at the cricket will take me into my 1st proper match of the seaosn Satdy against Yeovil. I was pretty upbeat after the pre-season.

Hoggard no more than 6 overs tomorrow. Harmison the same.

Handful of deliveries today have shown ridiculous variation in bounce. Hopefully we can exploit that and skittle them out. Not an easy task knowing how stubborn the Aussies are.

You've got to admire them.

 

I think we have to try and keep them interested in the win somehow, without giving too much away.

They haven't got many players who naturally defend. Capable of it, yes, but they love taking the initiative. Let's hope it proves to be their downfall tomorrow.
