West Ham have 3.2 million bid rejected as Huddersfield want four million which West Ham are expected to agree to pay. If only we gave our own academy players a chance we ourselves might have a multi million pound kid to sell one day.
Makes you wonder whats going on.......did Rhodes play in the same team as McGuire? ..........looks like someone in the academy has taken their eye off the ball

We didn't want Jordan Rhodes to leave, but unfortunately his dad got a job at Ipswich and took his soon with him. They paid us £5k for him. That had nothing to do with the club taking their eye off the ball.
Yep Jay was only 14 when he left Barnsley, the town rather than the club. At 14 most of us would have to relocate with our perents. I'm delighted at his success and that he's still in touch with his friends from school. But his leaving BFC was nothing to do with BFC.
Indirectly it was due to us sacking his Dad although the only reason we're even discussing it is because of his success. Had his career not blossomed he wouldn't even get mentioned.
