Needs to be paid what he's worth based on how much he's improved since the previous contract. I think sometimes we purpose low ball contract offers as we want to sell them.
I'm pretty sure he's off. He has 12 months left on his contract and I understand a proposal was put forward to extend his stay with BFC but the financial package was well short of what Jordan was looking for. I'd be delighted but very surprised if he does stay.
I expected Mads and Collins to leave this summer and hopefully that’s it but if we get a half decent offer for Williams he probably goes aswel if he’s only a year left on his contract. Would expect Cotter to be his replacement if it happens.
Based on us openly saying what our plan is with players (sell at peak to reinvest) and because our ratio of key players signing new contracts through choice, compared to those who end up leaving is very low.
Don't think you're far off with this prediction. We're still in a financial mess and need to balance the books, ideally need to try and get Iseka off the wage bill too.
But generally they go up the pyramid. If he gets a move to Preston, he's going to a team that had a wage bill 60% higher than ours, back when we were in the Championship. We're a division lower now, so we're not competing with them financially, unless you want us to be like Wigan, a team that you constantly criticise.
Never heard of him. To be honest though. I think Adam Hammill was the last signing we made I had heard of.
