Jose's team is 21 points clear at the top of the K League in South Korea.I don't know what standard the football is but to be 21 points clear in any league is quite impressive.
They’re 2nd. Two points behind the leaders. They’ve won the title four times in the last five seasons. They’re practically the Man City or PSG of South Korean football.
Sounds great! Might be a useful replacement if Stendel goes to Swansea. I believe he could have us purring in the championship
As Whitey has alluded to, not sure where you've got your information from. Jose manages Jeonbuk. They're currently second in the K League. It would be impossible for them to be 21 points in front of anyone as they've all played just 12 games. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=k+league#sie=lg;/g/11fhqhk31z;2;/m/0420lw;st;fp;1;; Worst manager to ever darken our doors.
They won the league by 21 points last season. They've actually won the league in 4 of the last 5 seasons, so not doing so will be seen as a failure.
The lads *****. He could win the champions league and I’d still hold that opinion. A good manager doesn’t come into a club and straight away isolate the senior/most influential players and cause that much discomfort in the dressing room that the players felt they needed to hold a team meeting without him to sort out tactics. Could quite possibly be the worst signing the clubs ever made, and he got the job because he’s associated with a top manager, not because he’s a top manager himself. Luckily they nailed the last appointment with Stendel and I hope he stops with us for many many years
You're right and in fact I meant half way through this season in my first post but I'd still be wrong if I edit it so I won't bother.
I don't get this "worst manager" stuff. It's not as if we finished rock bottom and were cut adrift weeks before the season ended. Just 2 extra points would have seen us safe. I'd agree that Morais was partly responsible for our relegation, simply because he was manager, but there were other factors. Bottom line is that he came in under difficult circumstances and gave it his best shot. Good luck to the bloke in his new role.
I think Williams and Gardner in centre midfield until February and no creativity in the midfield was a bigger factor.
Finally someone with sense! He wasn't great and I wouldn't want him in charge again with us, but he wasn't abysmal. He won 3 and drew 4 from 15. That sounds crap in general yes, but we were hovering above the relegation zone before he came in. We would be in a far worse situation now if we'd have stayed up a year ago IMO. This season has given the opportunity to wipe the slate clean and grow a young squad in a less competitive tier.
You've got me all wrong Mr Spider. All I said was that I backed him .I wanted him to succeed because that meant my club would have survived in the Championship. Please tell me whats so wrong in wanting my /our club to do well.
