    I think he is right.

Just tried to stick a bet on and they are not offering any odds.

The frosty winter relationship between Jose Mourinho and Roman Abramovich seemed to have thawed significantly in the spring and Chelsea looked like they would have the stability of the excellent manager for a few more years. But a combination of factors, not least an unexpectedly tepid defeat at Aston Villa has cast doubts over Mourinho's future.

The rumour that manager Jose Mourinho had left Chelsea on Wednesday night brought carnage to the press room as journalists ran around trying to confirm the scoop and decide whether or not to run with it in Thursday morning's newspapers.

The talk amongst the hacks indicated that Mourinho informed an unnamed Chelsea player of his decision to leave the London club after training, the player then texted a member of the media with the news, which prompted calls to Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon, who denied he had heard any news on the subject.

Mourinho's rocky relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is public knowledge - the current spat about playing/not playing Andrei Shevchenko is often in the headlines - and has made the rumour easier to swallow. But red faces could await in the morning.

Breaking news on Sky Sport "Reports that Jose Mournho has left Chelsea F.C." Looks like it's true, not surprised as the man is only Mel Machin with a lot of money to spend.

Just a big mis-understanding, you wait for it.

"thats not what I meant" Jose'll say.

fecking daft. He's a brilliant manager. Chelsea won't do better than him, especially with Roman's tendency to meddle.

That's such a hard question to even begin to take guesses at. I mean who is actually a better manager than Mourinho at the minute? Alex Ferguson? somehow I don't think it'll be him. IMHO I think Chelsea have made a mistake.

    Shame, I liked Mourinho.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jol got sacked next, and Mourinho went to Spurs!

I'd have a tenner on either Juande Ramos or Didier Deschamps.

    Roman Is An Idiot

He had the best manager Chelsea have ever had and interfeared in a job that didn't concern him. The problems started because of Roman wanting to bring in higher ups, Sheva and Ballack. Jose was a great character and I enjoyed his interviews. Hopefully he will be back in English football soon at somewhere like Spurs.
