Hi All Joseph Bramah opens at 8am Saturday morning. Does anyone know if you can get a drink (Alcohol) at that time Meeting there before going to Manchester for rugby and wasn't sure if we can get a pint. And no i am not alcoholic
I may be wrong but l've only been in any Wethers that early for the Newcastle away game a few seasons ago, they had some mad policy about only being able to sell alcohol between opening time to 10am with food. Having had my breakfast on the train up l ordered a plate of beans (which l left on the bar) with a pint of Guinness. I'm sure the same policy will be for all the Wethers pubs.
Yeah, someone I know posted other week on facebook he was having a pint about 8am. Thought it was just coffee etc till 9am
I know up here you have to order a pint with food before a certain time, it's something ridiculous like midday on Sundays!
Nowt wrong with a loosener on a Saturday morning. I used to have a few while watching soccer am every Saturday in the Fenners/lovejoy Days. Light drizzle !!
Wouldn't have wanted an alcoholic drink when I was in there at 9am about 5 years ago, but some in our party launched in for a pint with their Full English. Not being an alcy, I settled for a coffee and a brandy (as you do). Civilised. The occasion was bro in law's stag. The only time I have been to a racecourse and not seen a horse! Younger generation nowadays!
you be able get alcohol at 8am in most of weatherspoons pubs sometime while in Sheffield I go to banker's daft. For breakfast with coffee I see few people drinking alcohol at 8am one old guy order 2 pints larger a time I only in the pub for 30 minutes he drank 6 pints in short time alcoholic sprung my mind
Try the "Butcher's" in Wombwell......I drop my kids off at school most mornings and drive past......you've always got folk drinking in there from 08:00 onwards. Same people everyday; male and female. Myself, yes, of course I've had a pint early in the morning.......usually on a stag do or away day wi REDS.....and it's normally like drinking broken glass! Regular boozing at that time in a morning ain't for me. Strange, in that over the years, my favourite drinking hours have gone from typical night drinking to late afternoon/early evening drinking. Maybe it's a sign of getting older/wiser, but I quite like that.
