A fit, on form player could have been the difference between us going up the last couple of seasons (ok maybe not last season). I guess there’s a slim chance of him staying on vastly reduced wages, which honestly might not be the worst punt to see if we can finally get him fit. If not, all the best Josh - I don’t think you’re at fault in any way for how things panned out here. Sometimes you don’t get what you deserve.
With the transfer fee and wages for what little we got in return, he can't be far off Oulare for waste of money. Big difference is for Benson it's because he's made of biscuit.
Great lad, very talented, but it's time to move on. It would be very Barnsley if he gets fixed up elsewhere and plays 46 league games next season. And I hope that's the case.
