Really pleased for him - total 100% player, puts most of our shower to shame

Really couldn't understand why the Sunderland fans were on his back so much, the odd bits I've seen him play for whatever club he's at, he's always been committed.

Exactly what we need in midfield next season.

One of my favourite players in that team. Proper grafter.

It's a toughie. Obviously we know & love Scowen, but alot of fans who aren't barnsley fans mentioned Styles this season, why a lot of our fans are on his back. Difference is we see 90/180 minutes a week, they see maybe 20 seconds of highlights a week. Perhaps just wasn't the right fit for Sunderland.

I'd take him in a heartbeat at the minute!

Why would he when he may well be playing Championship football?

I didn't mean it like that tbh. I meant he's the type of player we want, there's no way we'd be able to sign him now.

With a bit of competence in 2016/17, we could’ve gone into the following season with Scowen and Morsy in midfield, with McBurnie and Bradshaw up front. Would never have gone down.

Fair do's, OMB. TBH, I think he'd probably have a better shot at promotion with Wycombe next year than with us even if they don't manage it at Wembley this time!
