I know he's Leeds but let's hope for better later on when he boxes some time in the next hour. He's 11 wins from 11 at Leeds Arena, so will expect to hold on to his title. His fights are always a good watch for entertainment. He's not gone the distance for a while.
Because he's still Yorkshire/English/British. It's started well. https://totalsportek.to/title-game/warrington-vs-lopez/7508
Brilliant fight and judges had it about right for me. Very close but Warrington came out best from the early clash of heads and still couldn't finish it. He had another big chance to in the 11th and didn't. 114 all draw and two giving it 115-113 is fair.
Never liked Warrington. Dirty fighter. Limited skill set. No power. But he’s had a hell of a career regardless. Head butted his opponent in his last three fights. At it again tonight. Glad he didn’t get the decision this time. Was a shut out through five. Scrappy middle rounds. Had a spurt at the end but was never enough. Lopez isn’t anything special either.
