Someone is salty that they left in order to play at an higher level but is still languishing in league 1. No surprises that the same guy defended Oli mcburnie and said that if a fan goes in the pitch theyre fair game for players to attack
To be fair windass slagged off Wigan when he left. Just like he slagged off rangers fans when he was up there too. He's got an ego the size of his dad's belly
And to be fair to Windass, I'd slag off Wigan too On a serious note, I wasn't aware about all of this, I suppose I have only read it on Windass' side of the story. I think my prejudice is based on seeing what Wigan fans are like towards us, Peterborough, Sunderland, Wednesday, Bolton... list goes on
Quite a number of our fans are the same towards Wigan and others though. Lost count of the number of times someone has posted on here that they were in the Wigan forums and someone had mentioned us proving Wigan are obsessed with Barnsley whilst forgetting that a Barnsley fan stalking the Wigan forums I'd a bit obsessive in the first place
He’s bitten when in reality probably should’ve deleted the app off his phone, at least until he’s back from holiday. There’s a lot of idiot football fans on Twitter but Wigan do seem to have a fair few of them, especially considering the size of their actual fan base.
Windass seems a dick to me. He was arguing with Sheffield Wednesday fans because he wants to leave and then deleting his angry replies to them. ONE Wigan fan sent him a tweet which he retweeted and then sent the tweet in this thread. The man's deluded
Yeah Ive seen the Wigan cretins write their ridiculous garbage, based on them going down and not us. Its usually along the lines of hahaha in't karma a wonderful thing, and it serves you right, and what goes around comes around, and aren't there any other teams you can get points docked from this time etc. Ohh and they still think their club were harshly dealt with because they din't break any rules!.
He's probably right. Plenty of Wigan fans pissed and whinged at us for daring to celebrate stopping up with a last minute winner, now they can't just enjoy finding a diamond of a manager and winning the league without tweeting ex players, not to mention falling over themselves to comment every time we lost last season. Twitter is a cesspit and there are probably loads of "normal" Wigan fans, mind.
It was literally one fan. He'd been arguing with Wednesday fans. ONE Wigan fan tweeted him and he replied with that. You can view all the tweets to him with the advanced search. He's argued with Wednesday fans and deleted the tweets, rangers and deleted them and one Wigan fan. Since he put that tweet out he's had a lot from Wigan fans but they're in retaliation to him not the other way round
He is. The other day he replied to a tweet about mcburnie stamping on a fan by sayingnhe was right to do it and if you go onto the pitch you're fair game.
Wigan fans felt he was arrogant and downed tools for them. Word was he forced a move and club happy to get shut. Seems like its a pattern with him. However Wigan fans never miss an opportunity to pile onto molehill thinking its a mountain.
Yorkshire Live, about an hour ago: "Atlético Talleres confirm Josh Windass interest". They have Twitter in Argentina though, don't they?
