As some of you may or may not know I'm a journalism student and I am going to be writing a piece about how Barnsley has changed over the past fifty years does anyone know of any characters who would be willing to be interviewed about the subject?

plenty of old people will be willing to talk about it! why not write to the council and ask to interview a councillor!

You could do a past, present and future?

'Ordinary' folk can be the most interesting.

What about the bloke on the market who has all the old photos and books etc. If he won't talk he might know someone who would.
