we can afford the probably costly defence services of Mr Graham Been but cannot afford any on field defenders?

Also, does he anticipate putting season tickets up again next season?

You haven't got a clue about the clubs arrangement re Been.

Do you think they've thought about season tickets for next season given we're only a couple of games into this one.

RE: I think Mr Shepherd is capable of answering for himself

Have you considered that there is a bit of money there but that Andy wants to make sure he brings in the right player(s)?

Would you rather him just panic buy?

Also consider how 'easy' it must be to sign a top defender (for this level) at this stage of a season.

Calm down, I was just putting some questions to you.

Just because we haven't signed a good defender yet doesn't mean they aren't trying to. After all, we'd no idea they were looking for another striker in the summer until we came close to signing Juan Ugarte.

I think you'll find that Mr Bean's services are no longer requjred by BFC.

Seeing as how Scunny have dropped their charges of 'tapping up' Kell.

There's just the tribunal now for Hayes' fee, and I doubt they'll require Mr Bean for that one.

Consequently, I doubt any money has been outlayed by BFC regarding Mr B's services.

    Heresay says that

Mr Shepherd told fans at training that we have enough defenders at the club...

Although I cannot prove he definetley said that and I am not claiming it to be a fact...it's a rumour. And even if you did say that, thats your opinion and I am not criticising your opinion or indeed you.

    So

IF the club have paid Graham Bean a couple of grand to send of few letters to the FA / Scnuthorpe would this have paid for a new player?

I think its just another opportunity to have a pop at the the club with no real justification

Given that Duncan Shepherd (one of the Directors) is a lawyer

    - I wouldn't be surprised if a bit of the 'old pal's act' applies here. That is, Graham Bean has been instructed but as there is now no case to progress, his costs will be minimal, or even nil.

Graham Bean has the relative experience in FA laws etc.,

Duncan Shepherd hasn't. Common sense approach by the club imho.

    Simple as.

Not rocket science, City Tyke - some BFC fans aren't happy unless they are moaning!

Team, Box Office, Andy Ritchie, catering, PA system, Theme tune, Rob Knowles, state of our defence, colour of the grass at Oakwell... you name it!! :D

    Well.

Generally when a business needs professional advice they get someone with experience with the problem at hand.

Duncan Shepherd specialises in company law. Football Factors/Graham Bean specialise in FA disciplinary matters.

    RE: Yup.

just because the club is close to peoples hearts i would have thought and they want us to succeed desperately. from my experience the club is in good hands and i am prepared to trust the decisions they make and give them the benefit of doubt. its a tad irritating that any one thing that comes out of the club is twisted in a way that puts the board in a bad light. at the end of the day they are fans in their own right and GS is a very succesful business man in his own right. duncan shepherd is also a good bloke and again succesful in his own right. both are fans and will always have the clubs best interests at heart.
