Journo.... the coach of the young Sydney team (who are touring South Yorkshire in Jan) has asked me to set up a match with the BBS Team. He was reluctant at first... I described you as a pub team. I reckon he had a few misgivings about his quicker, younger players getting kicked off the park.

But there it is. A Challenge. An International, at that.

Young Mitch will be on the tour... the kid on the clip which I put up here last week. A few of these boys will try out for the BFC academy and I reckon some will be 'snapped up'... you may be playing against young Redderses (?)

Around the first/second week of January... shall we pull this together?

I need to move along with finding a couple of local games for the Sydney boys staying at Wentworth Castle in Jan.

Firstly, thanks for the info on Huddefield FC academy. I contacted them and they have agreed to a play match..

Back to the Local boys... Dodworth Miners. Who runs their teams (Carol Giggs/Griggs?) have you got her number or email address..

Does anybody else on here have anything to do with the Dodworth Miners U16/17 teams.

Does anybody have any suggestions about teams who may play or train with the Sydney boys in Jan...

Are there lights at the Brig ground? Does the Brig have a youth team

any suggestions of opposition would be appreciated....

We are two teams 'born 1990' and 'born 1991' that is U15's and 16's but there is some difference about the age/year so give them the 'born year'.

We are looking to hook up with a local team for some matches and training and maybe some social. Find me a name and a number, Baz, and I'll follow up.

Also, what hotel are you staying at in Brisbane? It is on my radar now.... best try and find a room...
