I was astounded at your remarks on the Radio last night. how the hell did Austin let the team down. Yes, he got sent off but all he did was push away a guy that hand just punched him. Quite simply the performance of the ref yesterday would we were in a no win situation
Yes, and by doing so was sent off. Reacting to provocation cannot be condoned. The overall consensus in the press box was that he deserved to be sent off... I haven't seen a replay, but it sounds that maybe it was a little harsh. However, he is often a red card waiting to happen, and to give Rennie the chance to send you off is not the best thing to do. He does need to curb his attitude a little in my opinion... even before he was sent off he had shoved a Donny player whilst trying to get the ball in order to take a throw in... there was no need for it. In my opinion, both Kay and Austin let us down, you're perfectly entitled to your opinion too of course.
Never mind that...
you coming Saturday night?

that fact is that if any player should have got sent off ,all Austin did was to push the player so that he didnt get lamped a second time
What I don't understand from watching the highlights is why he took so long to send him off in the first place? Did Austin chelp at him as well?
I don't think he saw it... i think it was the linesman that pointed out the retaliation.
Retaliation is a sending off offence...he got sent off.

Believe me pal, I'm not saying Coppinger didn't do anything, or that he shouldn't have gone too/instead... It sounds judging by the comments on here overall from people who may have had a better view than me, that he was a little unlucky. However, it was still a stupid thing to do, and raising hands to any players is dangerous. And by the way, I was as furious and angry as every Barnsley fan in the ground about Rennie's display.
Hot Heads For a supposed "hot head", Neil doesn't seem to have THAT bad a problem with officials. His record is no worse than (say) Paul Reid's. Additionally, he only attracted 1 yellow card in the whole of last season. Antony Kay, on the other hand, seems to accumulate yellow card like confetti. 11 last season. 3 more plus a red this season. Jacob Burns is another one who seems to collect yellows. Arguably, it's an occupational hazard.
RE: Never mind that... Should be doing, yes mate Went out in Wakey for the first time last night actually, was a right laugh. Went to Quest, what a really good club!
Good lad... think you have an email about it...
Should be in Wakey for 8. Bus picking us up in town at half 7.
