Here's hoping we get a few wins starting tomorrow night. Chance to swell the coffers (anyone know what the prize money is?) and of course getting a bit of momentum going. Take our minds off the league for a bit.

I know the prize money in the JPT is very, very low. Even Danny said on Friday 'it's not a money spinner' so the only thing I can see its good for is giving the team more 'gelling time' & possible momentum.

Be nice to win to keep our unbeaten run going, but as a competition I'd rather not have the distraction.

I'd like us to try and win it to be honest. It's a long time since we won a trophy. I don't really consider the play off to be a real trophy, even tho' there's summat to lift up (I seem to recall).

Its worth about £140 if we win it so hardly a game changer. Its more about the prestige I suppose but ironically it's probably the cup that the fans and players care about the least.

Much rather win the playoffs than the JPT.

Me an all. You lift a trophy in those too.

Didn't realise it was an either or choice.

It isn't. But you implied would rather see us lift the JPT than the play off trophy. Where as I would much prefer the other way around.

No I didn't, I said I'd like to see us win a trophy and that the play off final wasn't really a trophy in my eyes, the real prize there is promotion. Given a choice of going up or JPT I'd rather us go up. But in isolation if asked would I like to see us win the JPT, my answer is 'yes'.
