His month is up on the 15th (17th we play Pikeys), based on what youve seen so far, would you re-new his contract? (If you were Robins of course)

    I would.

Naturally left footed. Did very well at left back and think he gives good cover to Hammill.

    Depends how much he wants.

I'd sign him on a longer deal

Could be a good assest for us and hopefully Robins can bring the best out of him

I'd give him til end of season.

See how he's doing then maybe offer him a longer one after that.

    Month-to-month deal

Gray is a player with Premier League and Championship experience, he's far from over the hill, and is a natural left sided player which we've been missing for years. He can play left back or left wing and has proven to be adept at both in the past.

I don't think he's been anywhere close to outstanding in the games played so far, but that's more than likely due to a lack of match practice. So the best solutionis, give him a short term deal and ask him to keep plugging away to prove he's worth a permanent place in our squad.

To me, the most impressive thing about Robins' short reign so far is he's recognised the need for competition for places. If a guy like Gray is sat on our bench, you can be sure that whoever is in the side is looking over his shoulder. For that reason alone, he's worth keeping.
