    also, David Carney transferred from sydney to Sheff U. 400k I think and a four year contract. He's been good. I'll watch his progress over there and I will now get to know how the two standards compare. Harry Bassett tried to sign him for Tarn when he couldn't break into the Everton senior team.</p>
