Great that they turned out in mass, the last few away games(Hudders & Oldham) has felt like supporting a decent sized team,it should be happening more than just with a few games left.

BUT and this is a big BUT don't ever criticise the team for a lack of interest, effort & and they don't want it.Yesterday i witnessed the quietest 1'900 football fans in my life.

90% of them were there for the daft hats, fat burgers & donkey rides.

Appaling backing for the lads, just don't ever accuse them of not trying when the fans couldn't be bothered yesterday.

To the 10% WELL DONE bet you've lost your voice trying to get it going yeterday i know i have.

Someone shouted to Reidy "C'mon Reidy get em going" wish he turned round and said "Why don't you lot try doing same"

    PLAY-OFFS BY SATURDAY TEATIME

got to agree i was sat with the blackpool supporters opposite our fans and could clearly see only a few actually trying to sing and cheer the team on

But we dont get paid 5 grand a week to sing songs pal!

Good money warrants effort! Plain and simple!

    Shuker!?

No way. That has to be rubbish. McPhail possibly, but a youngster signed from Man City? I doubt he was even on that at Mancs.

Fully agree with you, a lot didnt seem to be bothered about game. what annoyed me most was a bloke near me shouting and swearing at nardiello well within ear shot of nardy who heard him and looked in his direction, propting the bloke to call him a ******! is this the support we need, i think not!

Got to agree about the support yesterday. Great numbers poor or should that be no noise! The majority were either hammered or recovering from the night before or probably both!

COME ON EVERYONE LETS GET BEHIND THEM!!!!!

they should have stayed at home and left you real fans to it

And I just hope that if we get to cardiff we dont have thousands of people turn up, support the reds and put money into the club only to never go to oakwell afterwards.

    my opinion too GR

But there seems to be lots of people on here who think that if you went to wembley then you are legally contracted to a lifetime's support.

Couldn't agree more! Rubbish apathetic support!

Lost count of number of pi** heads strolling in at 3.15 blocking the view. The atmosphere was like a morgue...a really chavvy morgue at that!!

    RE: my opinion too GR

my point is all the closet Leeds and pig fans turn into Barnsley fans for a month,a year in the prem season case, they know who they are non of whom will be at Oakwell saturday.

I may be in a minority here but barnsley fans or wednesday fans those people added to a great atmosphere in the premier season and at wembley and they added to the clubs coffers too. I wouldnt turn them away if they came back if we gain success.

    RE: I know people who

Would you rather we had taken ten thousand to Wembley and been embarrassed for having such small support?
