is staying up on the same wave length as being promoted ? I was just thinking of the sunshine days that we HAVE had along the years... promotions from all levels, most wonderfully the one to the Prem... Play-off at the Millenium... shafting the Scally's at Anfield, and then Chelski at Oakwell.Trips to both the old and new Wembley Stadium ... now Back to '97 and seeing Man Ure out of the cup... in all honesty the role of a Barnsley fan is a bit of a white knuckle ride compared to a lot of other hum-drum teams. And it would appear that on the whole we have done it honestly too.... so my question is this... would we really want it any other way? :smile:
Someone sounds positive for once ahah! Rightly so though, today looks like the start of a fight similar to that of the end of last season. Being a Barnsley fan has always been a roller coaster, we'll be complaining again next week! Like you say though, we've done it honestly and I'd rather us be fighting for survival every season or even be relegated than have someone who doesn't really care about the club pump millions in.
