When the players take the knee I hope the knuckle draggers don't start booing or moaning. Imagine being Big Val or Dike and the first thing you hear from your own fans after such an amazing season is people booing a stand against racism. It would be awful.

Was having a nosey on the Swansea forum and we seem to have the racist label on there.I really hope folk think about what the gesture is actually representing.

Bit rich coming from them to be fair. The Welsh clubs always seem pretty anti English in my experience. Cardiff at Wembley being a prime example....

I don’t think Swansea fans are anywhere near as bad as some of the morons from Cardiff

At least when we get to Oakwell South the Bournemouth or Brentford fans will be a significant improvement on Millwall or Cardiff

I would be utterly ashamed but 0% surprised if it was booed.

If there are boos, I’d have no problem at all with Ismael and the players walking off and refusing to play in front of them

I thought this after I read Ismael's amazing interview in the Post that I shared the other day where (amongst other things) he about the racism he has experienced.

What a toxic post. Every club has its idiots but to even consider this is abhorrent.

I would hope that after a year without being at Oakwell the overwhelming majority of folk will be brimming with nowt but positive vibes.

Be nice those sat at the front stepped over the wall and knelt in solidarity with the players, I don't think that will be allowed though.
Don't try this if in front row of upper tier east stand

It was in my mind too after that.

If the knuckle draggers do this (and I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest) I will be utterly ashamed and will honestly probably find it difficult to continue supporting the club honestly.

It all justs feels like a hollow gesture now.

1 week of this had an impact.

But after 1 year thats all disentrigated IMO.

To be fair he didnt say racist. He said anti English.

i think generally one thing for sure is that only season ticket holders are in the stadium. Seats have been allocated. Smaller number of fans. All this should make it much easier to root out by the club who the people are that are abusive ... if of course it happens. Im hoping for the best and that everyone there will support the entire event, players, team with respect and passion.

Even if that's true - and I don't believe it is - there's only one reason someone would choose to boo it, and it ain't cos it's a hollow gesture

I barely Even notice it anymore.

It's become as routine as seeing the players stretching and fist bumping each other.

Wouldn't loud applause in approval drown out any knuckle daggers who booed?
