    I know not one single player should need any extra motivation to go out and win the next 3 matches..

    But for the tiny amount against the cost of relegation, wonder what would happen if the club dangled at 10k match win bonus per player Starting 11 plus subs... 500k over 3 matches rather than losing 7 million in TV money....

    Not sure but i think all player bonus schemes have to be approved by the FA before the season starts?

    I think it was because the manager was doing it and thus it wasn’t club funds- FA can’t stop a bloke buying his colleagues dinner!
