    i think its the performance rather than the result.

    i think we have proof here that whiteboards, uefa badges and computer coaching does not directly translate into good team performances.

    was it Brian Clough who said football is a simple game?

    if someone gets a first class honours degree at university it won't necessarily make him a captain of industry - its the same principle here, there's so much more to MANAGEMENT.

    And on the last few performances...........Davey hasen't got it
    But lets hope we are wrong
    But it dunt look good

    One thing in favour of Ritchie, he could motivate a team
    He promoted a freindly atmosphere with the players
    Problem was that this buddy buddy tactic also prevented him getting rid of players and bringing other players in
    If only he would or could have done this he would have been a great manager - but he didn't
