... friend of mine is a big Wednesday fan and he's the one with a few brain cells (he thinks they are crap). He's just had an email of a transcript of the legal case being persued by the Wednesday board against some of the posters of Owlstalk. Some of the stuff is so tame and petty that it shouldn't raise an eyebrow and is far milder than even some of the more moderate posts on here.
Can't believe that Wednesday are going through with this, buit that is their right I suppose.

Doesnt surprise me either However I have been observing proceedings a little myself and think that the Judge only decreed that three persistent offenders conducting a campaign of vilification needed to be named by the Owstalk admin, so the chances are although Wednesday have cited a load of "tame" stuff it wouldnt get anywhere on its own. I havent seen the posts that the Judge thought were out of order though so cant really comment from a position of first hand knowledge. I strongly suspect that the worst offenders have been way out of order and so dont have too much sympathy for them, but also think that the Wednesday Chairman is doing himself much more harm by following this approach
