On our Hols down here in Dorset so not too far to travel this evening. Great gesture by Mr Mansford handing out vouchers for a free hot drink as we came through the turnstile
As for game we were far too negative. Should be setting up a more positive formation against the likes of Bournemouth (no disrespect to them) but we keep persisting with Perks and Dawson in midfield. It does not work and limits creativity from the midfield. Dawson had a poor game and for me is not up to the standard required. Same can be said of Dagnell. Cannot fault the commitment of these 2 players but there League 1 Players at best. Feel sorry for O'Grady toiling away up front with very little service or support.
Worrying times ahead unless Flicker learns by his mistakes and changes the formation.

    Positives from tonight's game
    1. Crainie and Ramage look OK as a pairing.
    2. Chris O'Grady gave a good centre forward display with little support.
    3. I enjoyed my coffee, thank you Mr Mansford.
    4. Jennings showed signs that he MIGHT be a threat

    Negatives
    1. Three defensive midfielder s yet we still can't stop the opposition.
    2. We regularly look exposed in wide areas
    3. Or creativity is virtually nil.
    4. We continue to let Perkins take free kicks.... Why?!

I'm just back as well and agree with your analysis. It was frustrating to watch doubly so when compared to how we approached gamed last season. Despite that we were the better side first half but not in the game after the break. It has to be a deliberate tactic to allow the opposition to stroll up to the edge of our area before we really pressure them but it's not working

Agree with that. Mellis has the creative Ability which Dawson lacks. Cannot understand why McCourt isnt given game time. Well aware that he lacks fitness but get him playing for a half at least otherwise why sign him.
Flitcroft is starting to worry me with some of his selections and formations.

Agree with your assessment of Mellis in earlier games but he needs to be back in the starting 11 where hopefully he can rediscover some of the form from the latter half of last season.

Cheers for the report. How did Cywka do? Seemed to get a couple of shots in.
