Played well against Stoke , esp 1st half ,

although we dominated posession we didnt create much their goalie didnt have a save worthy of the name to make.

Didnt go to Scunny , but if you look at the Virgin media site you will see a hilarious own goal by Scunny.

We were shaky to start with against Scunny, they settled the quicker and knocked the ball around well.Davey reverted back to 4-4-2 from the 5-3-2 which had murdered Plymouth 3 weeks before, and to be honest didn't seem to suit our players as well,i really believe we have the lads to master that system.

Anyway we were pretty uneventful in 1st half,Muller only had one save to make mind you.Total fluke for our goal bang on halftime, saved a few boos me thinks.Second half was better but still no where near the Brazillian football we played against Plymouth,Kayode's goal was shear power, pace strength and coolness from the halfway line, what we have been desperatley missing for years since Wards departure.Scrappy game but a clean sheet and 3pts

Didn't go to Stoke but by all accounts we murdered them for 70mins,especially Jamal Campbell Ryce.Check some Stoke forums for posititve feedback

I thought we looked very solid against Scunny, never in danger of letting a goal in (except one shot in 1st half that Muller saved well). Cr@p going forward, especially in the 1st half, and if we hadn't got the freak 1st goal they would have been booed off by a few. Ferenczi hit bar with a header from a superb Anderson free kick early in 2nd half and then Anderson getting booked sparked everything into life. Only we were ever gonna win the game but it was poor stuff for most of the game.

Stoke I didn't go to but listened and we sounded excellent in the first half (71% possession) but what chances we did have we wasted. Stoke could have won it with the best 2 chances of the game, Cresswell missing an open goal.

442 and two clean sheets. It's the future. :D

    Interesting view of 5-3-2

If we start playing that stupid system again we will get relegated.

We were over run in midfield playing it.

The players didnt seem to like it , and it also doesnt suit any of our defenders.
