Match report on its way either tonight or early tomorrow. Right at this moment in time, I am just feeling totally frustrated and let down by the poorest display of goalkeeping I have ever seen from a Barnsley player. To make one schoolboy error happens from time to time. To make two in one game just beggars belief. We ended up with the ocnfidence all drained away - with neither leadership, nor direction and with no sign of any chance of a goal. Be certain of this - I think it quite likely that both Ipswich and the Reds will grace Division One next season. This was quite simply a clueless Ipswich team, whose only chance of scoring was a goalkeeping blunder and we gave them two, as well as a well-taken break-away goal.

    Dear, oh dear!!!!

    I was there too

Ipswich are not that bad a side. The defence lwas solid, and Jon Stead looked dangerous all game. I didn't rate Campo though.

Barnsley on the other hand do look destined for League 1. The first 20 minutes were fine - some nice passing, flicks and tricks. But again, no goals at the end of it. Then Muller mis-kicks it straight to Stead and we're 1-0 down. From that point onwards we were DREADFUL. No confidence from anyone. Even Da Silva couldn't pass it to his own team mates.

Early in the 2nd half we steadied the ship a little, but after Garvan's goal it could have been 5 or 6. Muller made Paul Robinson look like a safe pair of hands for the third. Utterly embarrassing. Let's just hope it was one of those days.
