Great performance from the reds today really battled well despite the best efforts of some of the worst officials I've seen for a while Saints look to be a good side going forwards but their defence now the worst in the league isnt good at all. Its great to always fancy our chances of scoring when we went forwards. 2 stunning free kicks from McCann and its really good to see us have the character to come back and snatch a winner when the opposition took their eyes off the ball. In fact the Saints put in the sort of performance we got used to in the first half of last season . Not even going to attempt to pick a man of the match as most of the team were great
Is It Too........ early to think about maybe play offs Seven points in a week, two clean sheets in a week, 7th in the league and had the balls and guts to get a winner after throwing away the lead late on.
My questions would be: - How did the front two look? - How did Muller do today? And Souza? - Did Werling deserve to be sent off?
Way too early just another step in the right direction. Enjoying being up there though, hope it lasts.
RE: Hi mate 'fraid Werling got what he deserved. Happened just in front of us at the Saints end. Diliberate stamp. His first booking however was not deserved.
RE: Hi mate He would have been given a straight red anyway surely for a stamp and so the first booking being undeserved would have probably made no difference.
Where were you then? That was at the far end of the ground to us Barnsley fans From our distance it looked like he got the ball fair and square - I thought the second yellow was for dissent No idea what the first was for thought if there was any offence it was a foul to us Souza was immense - didnt even make his customary mistake.
My questions would be: - How did the front two look? Stan off the pace again - Odijayi played well ran his socks off - How did Muller do today? And Souza? played well - one top drawer save and some other good stops but ones you expect him to make. Commanded the area well We look much better on crosses now - though a bit vulnerable on the floor - Did Werling deserve to be sent off? No see my reply to Addio
thanks for report well done have a nice pint for me somewhere in Farnham a pub near a bustop i rember it well
They both did well The midfiled with McCann Howard da Silva and JCR has the right balance for me Hope we can extend Da Silva's loan - he is a quality player
RE: Where were you then? Diametrically opposite. Nice banner from the London Tykes. Oh, and getting bullied from both sides. I thought you stood up to that well.
RE: They both did well JCR got surrounded like a western wagon train every time he held onto the ball for more than 5 seconds. Which was, well, all the time. He needs to know when to lay it off. Usually before the end of the cul de sac.
