Decent away performance in first half, Yeovil got at us straight after half time and deserved a point. I thought we defended pretty well second half, goalkeepers handling was good, and Yeovil bossed midfield in the second half. Didn't play great but got a point, so can't complain. Things just didn't click like last week, that's football, but its taken an own goal to prevent us having all three points. Just short of 400 away supporters apparently.

    Cheers for that.

Listened to Radio Sheffield's commentary which gave pretty much the same impression as what you've written: our first half, their second. Don't know if this is an accurate reflection, but from the commentary it didn't sound like Yeovil were causing us too many problems until the goal, despite having a lot more possession in the second half. Usually, when we're 1-0 up away from home, I can barely stand to listen and spend the entire game biting my nails and covering my ears, but we seemed to be quite comfortable yesterday. However, once they'd drawn level I didn't think we were going to hold out for the draw as there was wave after wave of Yeovil attacks. After 75 minutes I was confident we were going to beat them. By full time I was mightily relieved we'd got a point.

Thanks for that balanced and considered perspective of the game. Respect to all the fans who travelled down too.

I think Wilson got his tactics wrong I the second half, but it was a breath of fresh air if I'm honest, he should have stuck a extra body in midfield as we we're getting over run, but he decided to put some pace on up front and gave them something to worry about, but it just didn't work out, but I would rather see us lose trying to win the game, then shut up shop and lose trying not to, Hemmings & Cole are lightening quick like **** of a shovel, and could have stretched their tiring defenders but we just couldn't get a control of the game to give them the chances, it's early days for Wilson and his new squad and he's the same as us fans in not really knowing what his teams limits and abilities are on a match day, and he needs time to find out how to get the best out of players and what formations and tactics best suite them and who's capable of doing what, I think he made a mistake in hindsight but at least he's learning what he's got and trying to win games

The problem is we invited pressure by not doing the basics. We were punting it up front to Lita and it just wasn't sticking, which is hardly surprising when he is the smallest player on the pitch and was up against two big centre half's. We brought Hemmings on but he didn't really have enough time to make any sort of impact. The midfield went missing, they were just cutting through us like a knife through butter, Luke Berry was well out of position and it showed, he was little boy lost out there. Reece Brown had a nightmare so our right hand side was a real weak link and they exposed it. Dale Jennings was awful which didn't help. Hourihane to be fair to him tried to get the ball down and play football, but unfortunately for him the other players weren't on the same wave length. The two centre half's had to soak up too much pressure and they did well doing so, but they can't be expected to do it every game. Davies was probably our MOTM, with a string of good saves to earn us the point.

Young squad yes, which is why its vital for the likes of Treacy and Lita to get sharper and i think we could do with 1 or 2 new players, and then we have the makings of a decent top league 1 side.
