Abysmal. we opened brightly and inside 5 minutes we were a goal up.... I was at that point a happy Dragon a nd pleased with the decision to come up this afternoon and stay over..... Then they got a goal back and it all went downhill from that moment WTF Nyatanga was thinking when he headed it back into the middle instead of just finding touch I am at a loss to wonder. Tonight we lacked ...... well almost everything. I am not gonna ask for Wilsons head ... but performances like that will make it a hard job to justify his future, I hope this will turn around. One thing is certain , I will be taking a long hard think before I do this again.... just parted with £140 for tonight, I could pay my car road tax with that and have a fivers change.... I must be stupid.
You get some stick on here at times DT but you have my total respect for your attendance tonight! Safe journey home !
You are. We all are if money was taken from us to suffer that. Not a chant from the Ponty. Nothing to inspire. We only get pleasure from such as Hourihane being subbed.
Thankyou Doc Zee stupid thing is, I know I that I WILL indeed do it again... I cannot get here as regular as I would like, but will do it again. My work means that a lot of my Saturdays are out, but I will not do the overnight again. I will do the odd Saturday and come up and down in the same day. However I have enjoyed it... the trip and the anticipation.... and seeing a few old faces again.... and hearing the accent of my roots.... for that its always good.
Apart from commending you on your stupid effort to watch us I want to say a special thank you for reminding me to tax my car. Ta
Re: Thankyou Doc Zee I'll be doing a 11,000 mile trip shortly to take in a couple of games from the Legends Suite. I'm hoping the meal is good, because it doesn't look like I'm paying for the product on the field.
Re: Thankyou Doc Zee Our only consolation for watching that rubbish tonight was we upgraded to hospitality seats
back in the land of the Druids an uneventful journey.... a bit like last nights game really...uneventful.
I heard someone behind me in the Ponty near the end say "Can't believe I've wasted half a day's holiday on this". If it wasn't you then there was some other poor bugger in the same boat. I hope next time you come up things have changed for the better at the club.
it wasn't me Jamo I have wasted two days actually (well a full 25 hours). I set of yesterday at 13:30, stayed overnight in the Premier Inn at Tankersley.... set off back this morning at 10:00 arriving home at 14:30. I also parted company with over £140 too.
