Again, I'm in shock. Just how did we lose that game? Bristol started well and I thought it would be a typical away performance, but we finished strongly and looked like scoring whenever we went forward. Bristol were poor from open play and as the goals suggest, only really threatened from set pieces. As for the sending off, what a shambles. JCR was clipped, fair and square. If anything, I wasn't sure if it was in or out of the area. He took a while to go down, but he was definitely clipped and to send him off summed the ref up completely. He was bad for both sides, splashing out yellows for nothing fouls and he was spoiling the game. With ten men we were just as good, and perhaps with eleven we could have won. I'm gutted not to have got anything, but really impressed with the performance and the fact that we looked like scoring whenever we broke.
Just back too. We played well today. We just can't defend from set peices b. Deffo a pen, absolutely gutted but two home games now and I'd take 4 points. UP THE SUPER REDS !!! PS. Odejayi Needs to be loaned out. He got through on goal, cut back, and looked to pass it. He doesn't have any confidence to shoot. Needs to be loaned out to League One or Two so he can get a few goals.
