"But you've got a pile of oranges right there!" said I.
"More than my job's worth to sell you oranges, mate. We're selling apples today, apples tomorrow and oranges on Wednesday afternoon. Then it's back to apples."

 

They are currently only selling oranges

To people with orange trees.

Greggs just told me to come back in the middle of the night for my lunch as they've got families to hook up with between 11am and 2pm.

 

It sounds to me . . .

. . . like the football club are just fitting in with what seems to be a generally lackadaisical attitude amongst Barnsley's retail outlets. As such I think it's harsh that the club has been singled out for so much criticism lately.

 

I think it must be a new national Government led initiative, as this was Greggs in Southampton high street.
