    as bad, if not worse as it was last night. The Bridge Pub itself is no longer near water but all the new houses on that side of the road are under three feet or more. There's a TV broadcast being set up, and a bunch of firemen went down in a dinghy to get someone out.

    IMO it was always risky building those houses on what is essentially a flood plain, even after the river was altered. However, although I can't even remember the last time it flooded mi dad reckons that's the worst he's even seen it, even from when it flooded every year.

    Absolutley terrible for the people that live there, especially the bloke who's house is up for sale.
