Derby County on Saturday did a deal with GroupOn 2 adult tickets for £20 limited to 3000 tickets. Also any season ticket holders from last season who did not renew this season where invited to attend the game for free.

They had the 5th highest attendance in England!!!

    BFC Take note.

tbf it added 9k on to their usual attendance this season, so it worked.

If it was limited to 3K tickets, how did gates add 9K?
If we did simular, gate would stay the same so lost revenue to already shoestring budget.

No idea I don't know the full terms of the offer. Maybe the rest were all ex ST holders (some of them may keep coming back). But they have been playing in front of 23/24k so far this season, and got 33k on Sat. It's a big jump.

1489 took up the offer so 2978 tickets sold the rest like you say were freebies.

    Full house achieved.
