I felt this was the best way to air my opinions about the disappointing attendances at oakwell and hope that the message gets over to the public and gets the fans flocking back.
What did you say? Did you go on and have a go at the club for a lack of effort to attract fans to the club?
I thought you lot at Elland Road got quite a few going? Thanks for trying to "advertise" our club on Radio Dee Dah though, but I doubt you'll get the "fans flocking back"
Put it this way, he's as much a Barnsley fan as I am Irish. He comes on here spouting all this ***** about how great Leeds are and their fans and how poor we are.
Red through and through I have been a season ticket holder for 25 years and am a red through and through. Would do anything to get the crowds flocking back. We should al pull together and get rid of any negatives. Lets leave the negatives to our neighbours in the steel city.
The thing is our crowds are pretty good and stand up with mostseason over the last 20 years. Onlny in the late 70's and early 80's have the been bettered
A CONSISTANT run of results, SUCCESS, the TEAM playing open ATTACKING FOOTBALL, dare i say it after satday ENTERTAINMENT, Players SWETTING BLOOD for BARNSLEY F.C will all put bums on seats. SD is on the right track we all have to be patient ................................................
To be honest some simple things, like 'quid a ticket' matches for kids would help.. Anyway, we'll be at capacity soon as we get Manc Untd @ Oakwell in the next leg of the FA
Is it really your job to "drum up business?" Good effort all the same, but it's about time the marketing people at the club got their collective finger out.
Now the fans have heard you I'm certain they will return in their thousands. We were just waiting for your word.
RE: Is it really your job to "drum up business?" Tell me who drums up the business at the scum, the Ars+ and chelsea...........could it be the TEAM?
