Barnsley Football club ... formed 1887 by the Rev T Preedy... and not just a football club but I believe other sports too.. especially boxing. Right now we have gone through some bad times... and for a good few seasons, we have had far worse seasons. We may drop into the 4th tier this term ... perhaps. I am one who have been at Oakwell when that was our stamping ground... I also have been there in our Premiere league year and our good run in the championship. I was at the 'OLD' Wembley Vs Ipswich and soo proud.. I was at the new Wembley Vs Cardiff and soo proud... I was at the Millenium Vs Swansea .. ad so proud and totally blown away... I was also At 'Anfield' when Brian Howard showed Genius and scored THAT goal.... and I -was at Oakwell for the next round of the FA cup .... CHELSKI..... I can still see Mick McCarthy's face when 'Donkey Odejayi' nodded it in. its not nice right now for a Barnsley fan... but It will get better.. Trust me
