I was told we started selling tickets for the lower tier yesterday so who knows?

If we do take less than 4,000 can you really blame people?

    Not bad?

Considering we sold 6,000 tickets for Anfield in 1 day. 4000 is a disgrace Our fans make me pig sick, its the first game of a new season, South Yorkshire Derby, and on a Saturday. We should easily sell 5,500-6,000 for it

1 here definatly not going I'm going to Digger World instead

and depending on the Lincoln result i could be tempted not to bother with the Coventry game.

No thats not true i'd go & boo Davey for a full 90 minutes as i did all last season & the season before that

I don't think thats bad tbh, 4000 is a decent away support - and what's that work out at, 25% of your avg. home attendance? Not bad at all imo.

Only a handful of teams, literally, have brought that amount to Cardiff in the 40-odd years I've been watching them. And no, sw*nsea are not one of them unbelieveably, not even close. Ever.

Doesn't matter that it's not that far away, some people just don't attend away games.

Scunny have sold 400 for their 1st game back in the Championship at our place on saturday btw.

    Mate, it's £21 per ticket.

Some people will have only just finished forking out for their season tickets.

Just imagine if a man takes his two young children, and goes by coach. You're talking £100+. It's not cheap, and considering the lacklustre pre-season in the transfer market, some people will justifiably rather spend the money elsewhere.

I expected us to sell around 4,500 to be honest.

...never a truer word said lol. Strange bunch indeed. :D

And, no btw, I've not been on the 'bow yet. Rarely drink out of the football season tbh - when I transform into a raving alcoholic for some reason. Must be the thought of Steve McPhail "conducting" our midfield yet again. Where's that bloody drink....

    That can't be right

The upper tier alone holds that many and we've been selling lower tier tickets for a couple of days now
