I once got Stephen Hendry's autograph and he put: "To Rac, see you at the Crucible" As my name is Rick, I simply thought he didn't understand my accent. Looking back, I'm guessing it had a much more significant meaning and the crucible might be some kind of ritual ground for burning the English or something. He wouldn't change the autograph though, couldn't be arsed, the lazy git.
And he was/is spotty. I wave my micro-fibre cleaning cloth in his general direction as a sign of my contempt.
