    I had the 2nd generation Nano, 4Gb. Great looking, lovely navigation - **** sound. Not near as good a sound a smy latest Sony. The newest Nano's look even better, but the sound still isn't near as good as it should be given all the hype.

    I Pods not as good as Sony Walkmans

    i had a sony, now have an iPod. will never look back. and your music isn't tied to itunes at all, just don't buy it from there

    I think he meant the fact you don't have to use iTunes, not buy from it. I got a Sony after my iPod broke and the sound is better.
