From Tesco's, 'cos I'm a big spending romantic and nowts too good for her. Except I haven't. 'Cos when I got home and put 'em in a vase (I'm practical too) there wasn't a dozen, there was only eleven. 11 ******* red roses. **** me.
I never buy my Mrs flowers on valentines. I worked in supermarkets for years and the price is increased by about 50% This year I bought her 2 cauliflowers And I will sort her some of my special cheesy sauce later!
I was well chuffed. I found some proper Thornton's chocolates over here. Much better than the American 'fake chocolate' *****
I went to Tesco on Monday and bought a bunch of really nice, dark red ones for £4. I couldn't believe the quality for that price and guess what - they have opened up beautifully as the days have gone by. Today they are sitting in a vase on the dining table and look PERFECT. Long gone are the days when I frequent the high street florists on the 14th Feb and shell out £30 or £40 for a very average bouquet of flowers. I don't mind paying for something decent but I do NOT like being ripped off
Only when referring to our lass. You're right though it is a bit disrespectful, should use ar gert to be properly pc.
I am a chef and make a superb cheese sauce, with 3 types of cheese and Dijon mustard. Goes great with cauliflower!
