Agreed, breath of fresh air in a very disappointing season so far. Looking forward to it.

I feel more excited for this game than I have in a long while. Got a feeling everything will come together for us tomorrow. Attacking, spirited performance and 3 points.

Be interesting how he compares to Butterfield as they may well mark each other

I hope to goodness McCourt's allocated an attacking, creative role and let someone else, playing in a much deeper position, pick up Butterfield.

    Re: Yup

If Flicker gets his tactics right Butterfield shouldnt be a massive problem for us. He's a fantastic player but we all know well that if you close him down and get in his face he doesn't have the pace to get away. One thing we must do is stop him shooting from long range. Something we failed to do both against Reading and Wigan.

Hope McCourt puts a better shift in than he did at QPR

    Re: Yup

I hope he's allowed to display his undoubted skills in Middlesbrough's half and leave the less talented to deal with the defensive duties. Personally, I'm sick to death of having our more creative players over the years pressed into doing more & more work helping out the defence, rather than causing problems for the opposition.

    Re: Yup

I completely agree Kev and I hope Flicker does too. Play to his strengths and he could be a sensation in this league. We have players who are much better than Paddy at breaking up play and picking up their skillful players.

Why would two attacking midfielders be marking each other?
