    People just ignore what the bloke actually said (I heard it on the radio) and choose what they want to hear so they can criticise him.

    The problem is that he has said virtually the same things in every January transfer window since he took the job and it usually ends up with him getting no one. Then we get the other stock statement: " We tried our hardest but unfortunately we just missed out ...."

    Getting no-one?!?

    1st January he took over he brought in Ferenczi, Raczi, K Reid, Lucas and Dwayne Mattis. This was a month after he had taken over.

    Then last January we signed and loaned Macken, de Silva, Nyatanga and Steele amongst others that I can't remember right now.

    Maybe some of his initial targets in this transfer window were missed out on, we never know, but all this slagging off of Davey for not bringing people in is ridiculous when theres over 2 weeks left to bring people in. We'd all moan if he fetched someone in now and they were no better, not very difficult tbh, than what we've got. He's only doing what he thinks is right.
