Just got a new PAYG phone on o2, how do I add the free £10 top up?

When I bought the phone I had to also buy a £10 top up card at same time. But in the box there doesn't seem to be any topup card in there. Does it add automatically in a few hours? I have had the new simcard in for a while now but it still says £0.00.

 

Sounds daft but have you read all the booklets inside?

 

Lol, thats something I dont tend to do. TBH the documentation all seems to be about the phone itself, not the airtime credit. Looks like i'm gonna have to give em a ring.

 

Have you registered with O2,

and put the other £10 credit on?

Try O2 website or to top up phone 4444.
Free credit usually gets put on after you've topped up.

 

Thanks alot Laura, I have just called the Carphone Warehouse customer support and they said that it usually takes upto 8 days to activate the £10 credit. So it's just a waiting game now. I'm ok tho cos it's not for me, I have ordered it for my grandma, and she already has her old simcard with a few quid on that needs using up 1st.
